Welcome!

Heidi & Peter was established in September 2006 by Sybille and Angelika. In January 2017 Kathrin and Patrizia took over the company. Between them they have over 25 years experience working as nannies in London. Kathrin is a trained childcare worker from Germany who has previously worked in the German School in Bayswater and Patrizia is a Kindergarten teacher from Austria.

Kathrin’s outstanding ability to deal with kids in her kind manner and motivate them to learn made the sessions desirable to Adrian even after a long school day – Haleh & Adrian

We offer:

• German classes for parents and toddlers
• Drop-off classes for children in the afternoon
• Read and write in German
• Special holiday workshops for children of all ages
• All children learn playfully through traditional and modern nursery rhymes, games, drama, songs and art
• Together we celebrate traditional festivities such as Karneval, Ostern, St. Martin, Nikolaus and Weihnachten
• Small classes ensure that every child enjoys playing and learning with friends of similar age and language ability, enabling them to benefit in the best possible way
• Classes are led by qualified and experienced native German teachers
• The parent and toddler group gives the parents/carers the possibility to socialize in a German speaking environment
• Classes take place once a week during term times in Knightsbridge at Christ Church.

Our son Leon feels very comfortable at Heidi & Peter. He has lots of fun while learning German. Kathrin is a great teacher and a very warm-hearted person – Mama Selma & Leon

Timetable & Registration

Our playgroup and classes are held at Christ Church, 18 Montpelier Place, Knightsbridge SW7 1HJ every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and on Monday mornings at Kitson Hall, Kitson Road, Barnes SW13 9HJ.

Autumn Term: Classes run from 14/09/26 to 02/12/26. Half term is w/c 26/10/26. We have two workshops this term, a Lantern workshop 07/11/26 and a German Christmas workshop 28/11/26. If you would like more information about the workshops, please contact us.
Spring Term: Classes run from 04/01/27 to 17/03/27. Half term is w/c 12/02/27. We have an Easter workshop this term 20/03/27.
Summer Term: Classes run from 19/04/27 to 07/07/27 (Monday classes finish 12/07/27). Half term is w/c 31/05/27.
